NNSA ADDENDUM TO DOE SAM.GOV NOTIFICATION ISSUED SEPT 30, 2025
This is to advise that as of Monday, October 20, 2025, NNSA federal employees were furloughed as carryover funds had been exhausted. Until appropriations again become available, the Government will be working with a very limited staff to support “excepted” activities that prevent imminent harm to life or property, or otherwise meet the standard for excepted activities under the Anti-Deficiency Act.
NNSA Contracting Officer direction will be issued to contractors that support excepted activities upon required notification to NNSA that 80% of obligated funding has been expended.
For all other NNSA actions, performance is to continue during the lapse in appropriations until all obligated funds have been exhausted at which time the Contractor shall cease all performance of work under the contract pursuant to applicable terms and conditions, including any clauses in the contract limiting the obligation of the Government.
