  • Fabrication and assembly of 2.54M Buoy Frameworks Assembly (Qty: 4) and 2.54M Buoy Bridle with Bridle Padeye (Qty: 4).
  • All aluminum welding must conform to AWS D1.2, and stainless steel welding to AWS D1.6.
  • Submission of welding procedures and welder qualifications (AWS D1.2) prior to fabrication.
  • Provision of vendor-supplied material certifications for all aluminum materials.
  • A hull pressure test in accordance with NDBC-8090, with two weeks' prior notification to the government.
  • Production and delivery of a first article of the mast for inspection before fabricating the remainder. The government reserves the right to waive this requirement if the contractor has successfully completed a similar NDBC project previously.
  • Shipping to NDBC, Stennis Space Center, MS, must be included in the cost.
