Scope of Work

The replacement boat must be compatible with the current Schat-Harding Miranda Davit (MRT 3900 Davit, BHY 5300 Winch) and not exceed 2500-kg (SOLAS Condition B). Key performance standards include operating for at least 4 hours at 6 knots, achieving plane at 15-17 knots, and possessing US Coast Guard SOLAS Certification. The boat must feature a rigid hull (GRP or Aluminum, International Orange), a SOLAS-approved inboard marine diesel engine (EPA Tier III compliant or better) or marine jet/propeller drive, and appropriate electrical and navigation systems (VHF Radio with DSC). Special requirements include technical manuals, weight-test lifting system, pre-delivery trials, an 8-hour commissioning/sea trials/orientation course, and a one-year warranty.
