The NIA requires electrical charging stations for three (3) Mobile Research Vehicles (MRVs) located remotely from its Biomedical Research Center (BRC) in Baltimore. These MRVs are crucial for the longitudinal HANDLS study, which examines the effects of race and socioeconomic status on healthy aging in a representative sample of dwelling volunteers from the Baltimore Metropolitan region. The vehicles are situated in Baltimore neighborhoods throughout the year to facilitate participant clinical visits.
Scope of Work
The awarded contractor will provide all necessary resources, qualified personnel, material, equipment, and facilities to furnish electrical services. This includes delivering electricity to the three MRVs, specifically covering meters G160020018 and G185985002. The government will provide the vehicles, which will move to different locations within Baltimore, Maryland. Deliverables include electricity and installation services to the MRVs.
