Scope of Work
The supplier shall provide specialized NDT services for the USACE Pittsburgh District at locations including lock and dam facilities, flood risk management reservoir facilities, and repair shops. Services include, but are not limited to, NDT weld testing methods such as visual testing (VT), magnetic particle testing (MT), liquid penetrant testing (PT), radiographic testing (RT), ultrasonic testing (UT), and phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT).
All personnel performing NDT must be AWS certified weld inspectors (CWI) qualified in accordance with ANSI/ASNT CP-189 NDT Level II or III. Test reports documenting the CWI, procedures, test locations, and deficient weld findings are required for all services. Specific requirements will be detailed in individual BPA Calls.
