Scope of Work
This solicitation covers comprehensive deck maintenance and repair. Key tasks include:
- Replacement: Approximately 5,841 SF of nonskid deck covering and 100 SF of deck plate at the 06 Level Weather Deck.
- Repair: Deck coaming on the 06 Level Weather Deck, including fabrication and installation of new coaming (3/16" mild steel).
- Davit Socket Repair: Repair of a MISC portable davit socket brace, including fabrication and installation of new braces (1/4" mild steel).
- Additional Tasks: 1,525 SF of deck preservation, repair of existing seams/butts (25 LF) and pitted surfaces (5 SF), welding, nondestructive testing (NDT) on davit sockets, local air hose tests for watertight boundaries, cleaning, and surface preservation.
- All work must comply with applicable NAVSEA Standard Items (NSIs) and SRF-JRMC Local Standard Items (LSIs).

Eligibility & Restrictions
- Restricted to firms possessing a current U.S. Navy Master Ship Repair Agreement (MSRA) or Agreement for Boat Repair (ABR) in Japan. Firms without these agreements may be ineligible unless sufficient time exists for assessment and execution.
- Offerors must be determined responsible per FAR 9.104 and registered in SAM.gov.
- Contractor employees requiring access to DoD facilities or IT systems must obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and may require background investigations.
