Scope of Work
This BPA will facilitate future call orders for individual hazardous fuels and stewardship restoration projects on Federal and Non-Federal lands within 150 miles of specific National Forests (Idaho Panhandle, Nez Perce-Clearwater, Beaverhead-Deerlodge, Bitterroot, Custer-Gallatin, Flathead, Helena-Lewis and Clark, Kootenai, and Lolo) and the Dakota Prairie Grasslands. Work may include:
- Commercial Harvest and Removal: Sawtimber, non-sawtimber, and biomass.
- Mechanical Treatment: Mastication, chipping, cutting, and piling of non-included material.
- Hand Treatment: Manual cutting and piling/lopping.
- Road Maintenance: Pre-haul, during-haul, and post-haul activities, including blading, dust abatement, slide removal, surfacing repair, ditch cleaning, and vegetation clearing.
- Road Reconstruction and Construction: To be specified in future Call Orders. Projects will be structured as Integrated Resource Service Contracts (IRSC) with or without timber product removal, or Restoration-based Service contracts.

Submission & Evaluation
Proposals are accepted on an open and continuous basis. For consideration for 2023 field season projects, proposals were requested by April 20, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. MT.

- Technical Proposal: Must address Key Personnel, Equipment, Relevant Past Performance, and Benefit to Local Community.
- Pricing Proposal: Must include pricing for all items in the Schedule of Items for each National Forest of interest.
- Evaluation: Based on technical factors and cost/price. Technical factors combined are approximately equal to cost/price, with Relevant Past Performance being moderately more important than Key Personnel/Equipment and Benefit to Local Community.
