Scope of Work
The project involves construction at one site under a single period of performance, comprising a base scope and three optional scopes:
- CLIN 0001 (Base): New BSL-2 Laboratory, Equipment Relocation, and Trailer Decommissioning.
- CLIN 0002 (Option): New Conference Room.
- CLIN 0003 (Option): Equipment Vestibule.
- CLIN 0004 (Option): Laboratory Fume Hood and DI Water System.
Services include supervision, licensed design, engineering, labor, materials, permits, documentation, fabrication, and installation. Work encompasses demolition, concrete, architectural, structural, roofing, mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), HVAC, and fire protection systems. The contractor will be responsible for verifying existing conditions, developing permit-ready construction documents, conducting post-construction walkthroughs, providing an electronic closeout package, and offering a one-year warranty on workmanship and materials.
