Purpose & Scope
The DEA intends to procure lodging, meeting rooms, and audio-visual services for the 40th International Drug Enforcement Conference (IDEC). The conference is scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from August 18-20, 2026. Lodging services are required for the period of August 17-21, 2026.
Key Requirements
- Lodging: A sleeping room block for approximately 400 attendees.
- Meeting Rooms: One plenary room capable of accommodating 600-800 attendees (preferably classroom style or a mix of classroom/theater), equipped with 7-8 soundproof interpretation booths, space for a PA system mixer, and a medium to large stage. - Audio Visual (A/V): Comprehensive A/V services, including a powered sound system, wireless microphones, projectors (14,000-14,900L), HD switcher, PTZ camera, display monitors, and a full complement of technical personnel (Tech Director, Audio Engineer, Video Engineer, etc.). Wi-Fi to support live streaming is also necessary.
