Justification
The proposed contract action is justified under FAR 6.302-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Southwest Material Handling, Inc. is identified as the sole authorized service provider for the VLMs, possessing proprietary knowledge, technical expertise, and access to OEM parts. No other vendor has been found capable of meeting requirements without significant risk to performance, cost, and schedule.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. However, responsible sources who believe they can meet this requirement may submit a written capability statement to Sheri K.
