Quick Summary
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Seattle District has issued a Special Notice (Notice of Intent) to use GeoKon Pressure Transducers with LORA and Cellular Data Loggers. This is for a remedial design project at the Formosa Mine Superfund Site in Douglas County, Oregon, under an existing Architect-Engineer (AE) Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC). The brand name is justified by the need for intersystem operability with the existing GeoNet platform. Responses are due by April 17, 2026.
Scope of Work
The project requires a monitoring system to continuously measure water levels in designated wells and transmit real-time data to the existing GeoNet platform. The specific brand name items are Geokon® Pressure Transducers with LORA (low power radio) and Cellular Data Loggers. The rationale for this brand name is to ensure compatibility and integration with the current GeoNet system already in place at the site.
