  • Masticating slash between 1-9 inches in diameter and over 6 ft. in length to a maximum of 4 ft. segments, within 12 inches of the ground.
  • Achieving mastication on 90% of acres per unit.
  • Protecting residual trees from scarring and avoiding penetration of the duff layer.
  • Operating only under dry or frozen soil conditions.
  • Incorporating wildlife patches and specific roadside treatments.
