This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a brand name only contract.
The purpose of this acquisition is to maintain the existing system electronic control system to automatically record temperature, CO2 and humidity and door access times in necessary laboratory areas, including open laboratory rooms, laboratory refrigerators, laboratory freezers, and laboratory incubators. The system must meet the certification requirements of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and be scalable to allow future expansion with equipment that is compatible with the existing e-Controls temperature monitoring system described below. The vendor will provide an annual plan for performing the tasks listed below within two weeks of contract start date to the Contracting Officer Representative and Subject Matter Expert for review and approval. Within this plan the process will outline how the comprehensive temperature, CO2 and humidity monitoring system will be maintained. As well as the process for the installation of replacement door sensor hardware on existing or newly acquired CLIA equipment. The performance of installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ), if necessary, on new systems installations and for significant changes to the hardware or software. Repair or replace any sensor or other part needed to keep the system fully operational. Provide on-site refresher and new training for staff as needed but no more than bi-annually. Annual calibration for all sensors using annually calibrated test measurement equipment and provide documentation. As well as technical support throughout the life of the contract.
