The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Memphis District, Contracting Division intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order on a brand-name-only basis to acquire Trimble survey equipment. This acquisition will be conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6(b)(1), Items peculiar to one manufacturer.
The Government requires the following brand-name items to ensure operational compatibility with existing systems:
- Trimble TSC710 Data Collector: With Trimble Access Software (EWLS-TA-LOYAL-STOCK).
- Trimble TDL450B Radio/Cables (TDL450B-GEO): For long-range GPS data communication.
- Associated Components: Including but not limited to, the TSC710 Device Bracket (132797-GEO-1), Pole Clamp (132798-GEO), necessary battery packs (220200, 176767), chargers (131922-01, 74450-14), and antenna/cable kits (44482-00, 64451-00).
The proposed action will be a Commercial Firm Fixed-Price Supply type contract.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334519 with a Small Business size standard is 600 employees. This action will be conducted in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability (include detailed technical information and other technical literature) demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements by e-mailing Contract Specialist, Alexandria Duckett at Alexandria.D.Duckett@usace.army.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Time on January 27, 2026.
A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice. Interested sources who submit data are responsible for appropriately marking information if it is proprietary in nature. If potential offerors choose to submit information, past performance, and references regarding capability to perform these services must be provided along with the statement of capability. The Government will not award a contract based on the information received, nor reimburse participants for information they provide. Information provided is strictly voluntary. The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice. These services may be awarded without further notice.
