This Special Notice announces the Army Contracting Command – APG, Tobyhanna Division's intent to award a sole-source purchase order to Pitney Bowes, Incorporated. The award is for hardware/software maintenance services for mailroom equipment and meter rental for one base year and four option years. The sole-source determination is based on Pitney Bowes' proprietary hardware, software, and leased metering equipment, aligning with FAR Part 8.4 and FAR Part 12, under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B).

• Provide maintenance and emergency repair services for mailroom equipment and meters.
• Include new (or equivalent to new) parts and assemblies.
• Require a contractor response time of five hours from time of request, within normal business hours.

This is not a solicitation for competitive quotes. However, any interested party capable of providing these products/services without compromising manufacturing delivery, warranty, or mark-ups, may submit a statement of capabilities for consideration by Tobyhanna Army Depot. The government's decision not to compete is based on responses to this notice and is at its sole discretion. Information received will normally be considered for determining future competitive procurements.
