Quick Summary
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has issued a Sources Sought Notice indicating its intent to award a succeeding lease for the Burlington County Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Marlton, NJ. The VA plans to award this lease without competition, citing potential substantial duplication of costs if a new location were sought. This is an invitation for interested parties to submit a statement of capability if they believe they can meet the requirements. Responses are due by June 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET.
Purpose & Intent
This notice is not a Request for Lease Proposals (RLP). The VA intends to award a non-competitive succeeding lease under GSAM Part 570.402 to ensure the continued operation of the Burlington CBOC. The current lease expired on March 3, 2026. The VA is seeking to avoid significant costs associated with relocating the clinic and duplicating existing infrastructure.
Scope of Requirement
The VA requires approximately 14,411 Square Feet of Medical Space in Marlton, NJ. The space must be available for immediate occupancy. The lease term is anticipated to be up to 15 years (a 5-year firm term followed by a 10-year non-firm term). No tenant improvements will be performed under this succeeding lease. The required location is within a delineated area: North by County Road 537, South by Route 70, East by Pine Street/Eayrestown Rd, and West by Route 73.
Submission Requirements
Interested parties who believe they can provide a facility satisfying these requirements must submit a written statement of capability and evidence via email to roberta.smiley@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. The deadline for submissions is Friday, June 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM Eastern Time.
Important Notes
