Notice of Intent to Award – Sole Source Blanket Purchase Agreement
The Navajo Area Indian Health Service, Shiprock Service Unit, Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center in Bloomfield, NM, intends to place a sole source award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Cepheid for test cartridges for the Cepheid GeneXpert Xpress System on an as-needed basis.
The anticipated period of performance is a base period of one year from the date of award with four (4) option periods of one year each. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 800 employees. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) assigned to this procurement is 6640 Laboratory Equipment and Supplies.
No further awards will be made unless the need for Dzilth-Na-O-Dith-Hle Health Center in Bloomfield, NM, changes. The prospective, multiple-award BPAs as identified in this notice are sufficient at this time. In accordance with Part 12.201-1(e)(3)(i)(B), BPAs may be established with a single firm from which numerous individual purchases at or below the simplified acquisition threshold will likely be made in a given period.
Any other sources that believe they are capable of fulfilling the government requirements as described are encouraged to submit their capability statement, price lists, and catalogs to the point of contact listed below via email only and no later than 02/03/2026 at 03:00 PM MT. In the event additional BPAs are deemed to be in the best interest of the government, capable vendors may be contacted and be requested to establish a BPA with the Government.
This notice of intent is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued.
