Justification & Market Research
The acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2302b, as implemented by FAR 13.5, for simplified procedures for certain commercial items. A brand name, sole source justification has been executed. Market research conducted in March and April 2026 (via internet, DoW ESI, 2GIT, NASA SEWP) indicated that no other products or vendors could meet the Government's technical requirements, and an RFI received zero responses.
Submission & Evaluation
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals or quotes, and a solicitation will not be issued. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. Submissions will be considered solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. The Government's determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses is at its sole discretion.
Responses must be submitted via email to the Primary Point of Contact, James Childress (mckenze.childress@us.af.mil), no later than May 11, 2026, 22:00Z.
