By way of this notice, and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, the Chicago District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announces its intention to award a sole source contract to Neeltran, Inc., located at 71 Pickett District Road New Milford, CT 06776.The Chicago District intends to establish a firm-fixed price supply contract for between USACE and Neeltran, Inc. for the replacement parts for Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal Barrier I. Under the proposed contract, Neeltran, Inc. will be required to provide: DVR Circuit Board Neeltran PCS-28-01 (quantity of 2), Fiber Optic Gate Isolator Neeltran PCS-18-01A-BD (quantity of 2). The proposed vendor has been the only known provider of the aforementioned items for several years, wherein providing the required assemblies. Given that Neeltran, Inc. has the sole means to acquire the required spare parts, this acquisition is available from one source, the proposed vendor. This notice does not constitute a solicitation for offers, proposals, etc. However, interested firms may send capabilities statement NO LATER THAN 4:30p.m. (CDT) on July 10, 2025.
