Statement of Need and Purpose / Purchase Description

To acquire a replacement Revvity (PerkinElmer) JANUS G3 automated liquid handling workstation to replace a 17-year-old instrument. The new system will support Compound Management staff in preparing and distributing compounds for NCATS researchers and collaborators, ensuring continuity of operations and compatibility with existing laboratory workflows and automation protocols.

The existing JANUS instrument is obsolete due to its age and outdated hardware/software, posing a risk to critical Compound Management operations.
