Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide preventative maintenance services for the Security Engineered Machinery (SEM) brand Disintegrator & Briquettor System, Model 23/5 GVK, located at the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (AVCOE), Fort Rucker, Alabama.

• Perform preventative maintenance approximately three times per year (every four months).
• Notify Security Division of potential problems and provide cost estimates for parts and labor.
• Replace disintegrator blades with sharpened ones during maintenance and prepare old blades for future sharpening.
• Specific tasks include detailed inspection, lubrication, adjustment, and replacement of parts for both the disintegrator and briquettor systems.

Base plus 6-year contract from 1 April 2026 through 31 March 2034.

Building 9322, Fort Rucker, AL. Contractor must contact the Security Division at least 10 days in advance to schedule service.

Detailed tasks include:

• Knife replacement and sharpening for the disintegrator.

• Inspection and lubrication of bearings, rotors, screens, belts, fans, and hydraulic systems.

• Adjustment of belt tension, flow controls, and machine pressure.

• Checking for leaks and wear in hydraulic hoses and systems.

• Ensuring proper operation of briquetting, evacuation, and electrical systems.

• Performing test briquettes and cleaning metal particles.

• Providing an evaluation report with recommendations.

• Three maintenance visits per year, approximately every four months.

• Costs include travel, mailing blades for sharpening, and one potential emergency service call per year.

• All deliverables in the Work Requirements section must be completed.

• The Contract Officer Representative (COR) will verify completion before payment.

• Discrepancies will be referred to contracting offices.

• AT Level 1 training for all contractor employees within 30 days of contract start.

• Compliance with background check and personal identity verification requirements.
