Purpose of Sole Source
The Government intends to extend the ordering period of the current five-year IDIQ contracts by six months. This extension is critical to maintain uninterrupted MRO support for warfighters in Europe and Africa while the new, 3rd Generation MRO contract (Solicitation SPE5B125R0002, issued July 23, 2025, closed September 26, 2026) is being awarded.
