Justification & Action
The government is pursuing a sole source acquisition because Aero Simulation, Inc. (ASI) possesses the unique, proprietary technical data, knowledge, and engineering expertise required to execute these modifications and ensure hardware interoperability within the existing classified enclave. Awarding to any other source would cause significant cost duplication, schedule delays, and system integrity issues. This is considered a one-time requirement.
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested sources are invited to submit written technical capabilities, limited to 10 pages, demonstrating that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Responses should be sent via email to the primary contact. The government will use this information to determine if a comparable source is available and if a competitive procurement is warranted. No solicitation document is available, and no contract will be awarded based on responses to this notice.
