Market research indicates that only the Honeywell CK67 Mobile Computer Barcode Scanner, configured with Sunflower Mobile Release Version 5.6.3, can meet the agency's operational requirements. Alternative hardware platforms would necessitate significant software reconfiguration, compatibility validation, cybersecurity review, and would result in substantial duplication of cost and unacceptable delays in fulfilling statutory property accountability requirements. The Honeywell CK67 is the only device currently validated for direct deployment with Sunflower Mobile Release 5.6.3 without modification.
