This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.2 – Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. The 10 Contracting Squadron, Operational Contracting Office, United States Air Academy (USAFA), Colorado, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Priced sole source award to Knock Out Painting. Knock Out Painting is an 8(a)-contractor headquartered in 8055 W Hampden Ave, Lakewood, CO 80128. This non-commercial acquisition is for a Protective Coating and Pavement Markings IDIQ for USAFA.
The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) codes for this acquisition are 238320 Painting and Wall Covering Contractors along with 237310 Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. This is for information purposes only and doesn’t constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals. DO NOT submit a bid or proposals at this time. The anticipated award date is 23 February 2026.

Information received in response to this notice will be considered only for the purpose of determining whether conducting competitive procurement in the future is in the best interest of the Government. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the services required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must be clear and concise documentation indicating any offeror’s capability to provide these services. All communication must include the Notice ID: NOI_USAFA Protective Coating and Pavement Markings IDIQ. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
