Scope of Work

• Design: In accordance with NAVSEA drawing 801-6758076, assembly 1A, Find 3, and applicable engineering documents.
• Material: MIL-DTL-24252, Composition 1, Condition A. The original melter, melter/converter, and converter of this material must be qualified.
• Manufacturing Restrictions: No weld repair is permitted on MIL-DTL-24252 material.
• Inspections & Certifications: Certifications are required for Dye Penetrant Inspection and performance testing. Threads must be inspected per FED-STD-H28 series.
• Environmental: Mercury and mercury-containing compounds must not be intentionally added or come in direct contact with the hardware.
• Packaging: Must be in accordance with MIL-STD-2073.
• Documentation: Hazardous material identification and Material Safety Data Sheets are required.
