This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is for market research to identify potential sources for the procurement of CASE AND VANE ASSEMBLY parts (NSN: 2840-01-687-3807PR, P/N: 2215M15G05). The U.S. Air Force is seeking information to determine if the effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. This is not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded based on this market research. No funds are available for this solicited information.
The government is interested in potential sources capable of manufacturing the specified item.
This includes procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping.
Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting production requirements, long lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets.
This is a new spares buy and does not have a repair requirement.
Potential sources may be responsible for nonrecurring engineering costs.
Contract type, period of performance, and estimated value are to be determined.
Interested sources must select "ADD ME TO INTERESTED VENDORS" to participate.
Responses are requested by January 22, 2026.

Potential sources wishing to be qualified are REQUIRED to complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as specified in the Qualification Requirements (QR) for this item.

SAR packages must be submitted electronically through DoD SAFE.
