Sources Sought / Market Research

This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is for market research to identify potential sources for "Spares Procurement" of aircraft turbine disks (NSN: 2840-01-443-4088NZ, P/N: 4084113-01) for the F100 platform. The U.S. Air Force is seeking to determine if the requirement can be competitively procured or set aside for small businesses. This is not a solicitation, and requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. No funds are available for this market research effort.

• Procurement/manufacture of component parts for aircraft turbine disks.

• Tasks may include inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping.

• Potential responsibilities may extend to supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, and addressing diminishing manufacturing sources.

• This is a new spares buy; there is no repair requirement.

• Potential sources may be responsible for nonrecurring engineering costs.
