This document is a Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) for market research to identify potential sources for "Spares Procurement" of a Disk Compressor, NSN: 2840-01-488-8016OK, P/N: 5126T33P02. The U.S. Air Force is seeking information to determine if the requirement can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), and no contract will be awarded based on this notice. No funds are available for this market research effort.
The requirement is for the "new manufacture" of the specified Disk Compressor.
Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment.
This generally includes procurement/manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping.
Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources, material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets.
Potential sources may be responsible for nonrecurring engineering costs.
This is a "New Spares Buy" and does not have a repair requirement.
The estimated spares requirement is for 13-Jan-2026.
Contract type, period of performance, and estimated value are to be determined.
Interested sources must select "ADD ME TO INTERESTED VENDORS" to participate.

Potential sources wishing to be qualified are REQUIRED to complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as specified in the Qualification Requirements (QR) for this item.
QRs and Engineering Data List (EDL), if applicable, are attached.
Government-provided data is annotated on the EDL. If no EDL is provided, sources must independently acquire necessary technical data.
