Sources Sought / Market Research
This Sources Sought Synopsis (SSS) is issued by the United States Air Force (421st SCMS) to conduct market research for potential "Spares Procurement" of a Fuel Housing Insert (NSN: 2915-00-755-7528RV, P/N: 589066). The government is seeking to identify potential sources and determine if the requirement can be competitively procured or set aside for small businesses. This is not a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded based on this market research. No funds are available for this effort.
Potential sources must be capable of furnishing all labor, materials, facilities, and equipment for the new manufacture of the specified item.
This includes procurement/manufacture of component parts, inspection, testing, preservation/packaging, and shipping.
Potential sources may also be responsible for supply chain management, logistics planning, forecasting, long-lead time parts procurement, diminishing manufacturing sources, material shortage issues, and shipping serviceable assets.
Potential sources may be responsible for nonrecurring engineering costs.
Estimated Spares Requirement: 294 EA (147 Min / 441 Max).
This is a new spares buy and does not have a repair requirement.
Potential sources wishing to be qualified are REQUIRED to complete a Source Approval Request (SAR) package as specified in the Qualification Requirements (QR) for this item.
QRs and Engineering Data List (EDL), if applicable, are attached.
Government-provided data is annotated on the EDL. If no EDL is provided, sources must independently acquire necessary technical data.
Requests for Engineering Drawings should be submitted via email to ocalc.lgldo.public@us.af.mil.
Interested sources must select "ADD ME TO INTERESTED VENDORS" to participate.
