Justification for Brand Name
This acquisition is Other Than Full and Open - Restricted Competition due to the Brand Name Mandatory requirement. The specified Honeywell/Uline equipment is required as direct upgrade replacements that must match existing Government assets in form and function. Honeywell/Uline (CAGE 7Z049) is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and only their brand parts ensure proper interface, safety operability, and compliance with NSSF's safety program requirements. Any change in product would negatively impair the command's safety program.
