Quality Assurance & Requirements
This opportunity involves Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities (EAF) and will result in a bilaterally executed award. Contractors must adhere to a robust quality system, specifically ISO-9001, amplified by ISO-10012 or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025. Key requirements include:
- Material Certification: Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis for Nut, Stem Retaining (Item 27A) made from ASTM-B505, Alloy C90300.
- Testing Certification: Required for visual inspection of each stem retaining nut, all surfaces and threads, per T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 and S9074-AR-GIB-010/278.
- Traceability: Maintained from material to certification test reports, with unique traceability numbers marked on the material per MIL-STD-792. Re-certification is required if material properties are altered.
- Inspection: Government Source Inspection (GSI) is required, with contractors notifying DCMA upon award. Final inspection includes 100% verification of material data, traceability markings, and certification reports.
