Scope of Work
This solicitation is for Nut, Heavy Hexagon, manufactured in accordance with Naval Sea Systems Command Drawing 845-7504734, Item 75. The material must be MIL-DTL-1222, Type III, Grade 7 (ASTM-A194). Key requirements include:
- Special Emphasis Material: The material is for crucial shipboard systems, where failure could result in serious injury, loss of life, or loss of vital systems, necessitating special control procedures.
- Traceability: Complete traceability from material to certification test reports (Objective Quality Evidence - OQE) is mandatory, including unique heat/lot numbers and permanent marking per MIL-STD-792 and MIL-DTL-1222.
