Scope of Work
The requirement is for an all-inclusive, non-personal service contract to provide an onsite Board-Certified Obstetrics/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) physician, one Nurse (RN), and one Ultrasound Technician. These personnel will deliver comprehensive OB/GYN services, including evaluation, treatment, and management for gestation, childbirth, reproductive disorders, prenatal care, sexually transmitted diseases, pap smears, family planning, and urinary stress incontinence. Services must meet or exceed American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) Physician Guidelines. The physician and support staff are required on-site once a week, with 90% of time dedicated to direct patient care and 10% to administrative tasks.
Key Personnel & Qualifications
The OB/GYN physician must be Board-Certified, possess current, unrestricted licenses/certifications, and be credentialed and privileged at a hospital with an Operating/Labor/Delivery Room. All staff must be technically proficient in English, certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), and complete mandatory IHS training (EHR, Privacy, HIPAA, etc.). Required testing includes PPD, Rubella immunization, and COVID-19 vaccination (or valid exemption). Contractors must ensure staff are not on the HHS OIG List of Excluded Individuals/Entities and comply with citizenship requirements. Continuity of services is critical, requiring a contingency plan for personnel changes. The contractor must provide an ultrasound machine.
