Current Areas of Interest (AoIs)
Two specific AoIs have been identified:
- AoI 5.4: Supply and Install Temporary Generator Controls - KCS: Seeks innovative commercial approaches for industrial temporary generator controls at the Central Distribution Center on Ramstein Air Base, Germany. This involves installing temporary controls for two existing Cummins generators, requiring 24/7 support, and TUV Saarland inspection. Submission deadline: April 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM CET.
- AoI 5.5: CMPP Meat Forming Machines: Requires an industrial multi-purpose meat forming machine for the Central Meat Processing Plant (CMPP) on Ramstein Air Base, Germany. The machine must be CE certified and capable of producing specific ground beef loaves and patties, integrating with an existing wrapping machine. Submission deadline: April 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM CET.
Contract Details
Contracts awarded under this CSO will be structured as fixed-price contracts. Awards may be made through fiscal year 2028, with potential for extension.
Submission & Evaluation
The CSO process is multi-phased, potentially involving:
- Phase 1: Submission of a written solution brief (max 10 pages or 20 slides).
- Phase 2: Presentation.
- Phase 3: Request for Commercial Solution Proposal (CSP). The Government may forgo phases and engage in discussions. Solution briefs are evaluated on responsiveness, technical merit, and affordability. CSPs are evaluated on technical approach, schedule realism, and price.
Eligibility
