This is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for commercial services for aerial helicopter herbicide application for vegetative management of invasive species (Phragmites) at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Wilson Lake Project in Sylvan Grove, KS. The acquisition is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) under simplified procedures.

• Provide labor, equipment, and herbicide for aerial spot-spraying up to 450 acres of invasive Phragmites sp. across approximately 50 miles of shoreline.

• Use contractor-furnished, aquatic-labeled Imazapyr chemical and aquatic-labeled Methylated Seed Oil (MSO).

• Apply herbicide at a rate of 2 quarts of imazapyr and 1 quart of MSO per acre, with a total solution volume of no less than 15 GPA.

• Contractor personnel must be trained/licensed and able to identify Phragmites sp.

• Complete a herbicide application report form.

• Provide total acres treated, herbicide amount used, and an electronic GPS file of treatment areas.

• The Government reserves the right to adjust areas of inspection/treatment without increasing the estimated acreage amount.
