DESCRIPTION:

This agency proposes to issue a solicitation for a reprice effort for the long-term strategic/sole source contract which will include multiple NSNs to support the BF

T700 (UH-60), BG T701 (AH-64) BL T55 (CH-47) and BN T700-GE-70 (UH-60L & AH-64A) Turbine Engine Weapon Systems . A total of 53 NSNs are targeted to

be repriced for this contract effort. The proposed sole source action will be issued to General Electric Company, Contractor and Government Entity (CAGE) code:

99207. The proposed action is intended to be on a sole source basis as supported by a J&A IAW FAR 6.302-1 “Only One Responsible Source and No Other

Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements”.

This reprice effort will be for a total of five (5) years period of performance. Letters expressing interest in subcontracting provided to the contracting officer will be

forwarded to the identified OEM. This requirement is to be a FAR Part 12 effort. The attached lists of NSNs are the items that have been identified for this current

action. If other NSNs are subsequently added, as defined by the terms of the contract, they will be synopsized separately.

These items are to be repriced to continue offering coverage for additional five (5) years to a sole source, multiple year requirements type contract awarded to

General Electric Company CAGE Code: 99207 in accordance with the originally approved J&A. However, the NSNs identified here were only synopsized the first

five (5) years of this effort. The contract requires supply of parts, as well as other functions including but not limited to inventory management, forecasting,

distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering maintenance and design control affecting these parts. See the identification of requirements (IOR)

All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are

encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by visiting AvMC's public website:

date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the

date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
