• Application Deadline: June 15th, 2026, by close of business (4:30 p.m. PST).

• Submission Requirements: One hard copy and one electronic copy (on flash drive) of the application, including proposed annual operating plan, business plan, financial resources, and proposed fees.

• Facility Tour: Scheduled for May 8th, 2026. RSVP required by May 1st, 2026.

• Questions Deadline: May 25th, 2026.

• Evaluation Criteria (in descending order of importance): Proposed annual operating plan, business plan/experience/references, fee to the Government, fees charged to the public, and financial resources.

• Open to all individuals or entities, except members of Congress, Resident Commissioners, and current Forest Service employees.

• The current permit expires on December 31, 2026.

The Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest is soliciting proposals for a day use concession special use permit (SUP). This permit will be for the operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities, replacing the current concession permit. The Forest anticipates awarding the SUP in January 2027. The three-year average gross revenue for this offering is estimated at $111,658.33.

• Operation and maintenance of government-owned recreation facilities.

• Applicants must submit one (1) hard copy and one (1) electronic copy of their application, including information found in Section IV. Application.

• Applications are subject to cost recovery pursuant to 36 CFR 251.58 (c)(1)(ii) and (c)(3)(iii).

• Separate payment for the business plan review is required and must be enclosed with the application package.

• The SUP is intended to be awarded in January 2027.
