To procure services for refuse and recycling collection, transportation, and disposal for Omaha National Cemetery (ONC).

• Collection, transportation, and disposal of solid waste.

• Proper handling and recycling of designated recyclable materials.

• Services to be performed safely, timely, environmentally responsibly, and in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

• Contractor shall provide, deliver, maintain, and remove refuse and recycling containers as requested.

• On-call services for general waste, headstones, and construction materials containers (20-yard capacity).

• Disposal fee per ton for general waste, headstones, and construction materials.

• Containers must be kept in proper repair, painted uniformly, and free of graffiti, vermin, or foreign matter.

• Containers must not emit unpleasant odors.

• On-call container delivery and pickup within 3 business days of notification.

• Substitute containers must be provided within 1 business day for critical areas.

• Hazardous waste spills must be cleaned up immediately, properly disposed of, and reported.

• All operations must comply with environmental protection regulations.

• Location: Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Road, Omaha, NE 68138.

• Work hours: 0830-1600 hrs (8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday.

• Services will not be performed on Federal Government holidays, with arrangements for pickup on preceding or following business days.

• Contractor must have a minimum of one (1) year of prior experience in recycling and waste management services.

• Personnel must communicate effectively in English, be fully trained, and possess required licenses (e.g., CDL).

• Contractor personnel must wear identifiable uniforms.

• Contractor vehicles must be in good repair, clean, and clearly marked with the company name.

• Vehicles used for waste transport must be covered to prevent spillage.

• Contractor is responsible for any damage caused by its operations and for immediate cleanup of spills.

• Contractor must obtain all necessary licenses, permits, and certifications.

• Invoices to be submitted monthly via Tungsten e-Invoice Network (payment terms: net 30).
