Justification for Sole Source
The sole-source award to Maui Disposal Company Inc. is justified due to urgent and compelling circumstances requiring continuity of services for health, safety, and uninterrupted disaster recovery operations. Maui Disposal Company Inc. is identified as the incumbent and the only known local business with the capacity to meet the sustained demand for waste management services following the post-wildfire conditions in Maui.
