Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This document describes the requirements for the overhaul of an ANTENNA, Part Number TC-6527-3/USCG, National Stock Number 5985-01-619-5873, used on FRC 154.

• Overhaul Requirements: The overhaul must be performed in accordance with SFLC Specification R-400-299-L.

• Inspection Report: Each submittal must include:

  • Hourly Labor Rate
  • Hours needed for repair
  • List of parts replaced
  • Cost of parts replaced
  • Identification of any additional costs (Packaging, Marking, Freight, Delivery).

• Electrostatic Protection: Units must have electrostatic protection per Type III, Class I of MIL-B-81705E.

• Packaging: Each unit must be individually packaged per MIL-STD-2073-1E, ASTM-D-3951-10, and SFLC SP-PP&M-001.

• Marking: Each item must be individually marked per MIL-STD-129P and SFLC SP-PP&M-001.

• Bar Coding: Required if capable, per SFLC SP-PP&M-001.

• Preservation/Packaging: Units must be preserved and wrapped for protection against deterioration for a minimum of two (2) years.

• Shipment Packaging: Each unit shall be packed individually in a wooden box providing adequate protection for multiple shipments. Boxes must be marked with specific identification details including NSN, Item Name, Part Number, Government Order Number, and "Coast Guard SFLC Material, Condition 'A'".

• Warranty: A standard manufacturer's warranty is required. For items repaired as "onboard repair" or "system stock," a warranty against defects leading to failure for up to two (2) years after delivery to the Coast Guard is required.

• Government Acceptance: Acceptance will occur at the destination by a Government representative, contingent upon verification of no damage, order correctness, and conformance to preservation, packaging, packing, and marking requirements.

• Discrepancies: Any discrepancies in received items must be reported to the Coast Guard Contracting Officer.

• Failure to Comply: Failure to follow instructions may result in contract termination.

• Cost Estimate: The estimated cost for overhaul is not to exceed $16,000.
