Scope of Work
This requirement involves the overhaul, repair, and testing of Reliance 0.75 HP AC Motors with Stearns Motor Brakes (SM-50-20MB) used on 418 ft WMSL U.S. Coast Guard Cutters. The scope includes:
- Receipt, disassembly, inspection, and condition/test reporting.
- Overhaul, repair, reassembly, and testing.
- Preservation, packaging, and marking according to MIL-STD-2073-I E Method 10 and ASTM D3951-98.
- Replacement of the non-serviceable Stearns motor brake with an identical new OEM unit.
- Use of new OEM replacement parts or commercially available equivalents identified by marking/technical manual.
- Balancing of the motor rotating element (NEMA MG1-2006) and painting of the entire unit.
- Final energized operational tests per IEEE Std 112-2004.
- A two-year guarantee against defects after delivery.
