Scope of Work
The contractor will perform overhaul, repair, reassembly, testing, preservation, packaging, packing, and marking of "Closed Coupling" Rotary Pumps used on 418 ft WMSL U.S. Coast Guard Cutters. This includes:
- Receipt, disassembly, inspection, and condition/test reporting.
- Reassembly, testing, preservation, packaging, packing, and marking.
- Providing all labor and materials for overhaul services.
- Submitting a Condition Found Report (CFR) with recommended replacement parts and total repair cost.
- Mandatory replacement of bearings, bushings, seals, and gaskets.
- Painting the pump/pump unit with primer and finish coats (Machinery Gray, color 16376).
- Hydrostatic testing at 150% of maximum working pressure and operational testing to meet OEM performance.
- Motor winding resistance testing per IEEE Std 43 and motor rotating element balancing per NEMA MG1-2011.

Special Requirements
