Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all necessary planning, supervision, administration, labor, equipment, material, and supplies for the comprehensive operation and maintenance of the Tennessee Tombigbee Waterway and Okatibbee Lake Projects. This includes:
- Facility Maintenance: Repair and upkeep of project structures, buildings, offices, maintenance facilities, operation areas, roads, locks, dams, spillways, and miscellaneous flow structures.
- Equipment Maintenance: Operation and maintenance of a floating plant (towboat, crane barge, workboats), vehicles, and major lock maintenance closures.
- Recreational Area Support: Maintenance of eight Class A Campgrounds, three Visitor Centers, and 52 Day Use Areas, including services like general maintenance, cleaning, custodial service, garbage removal, grass mowing, and debris removal.
- Specialized Tasks: Carpentry, masonry, electrical, mechanical, structural, plumbing, welding, and repair/replacement of parts for various infrastructure components. Also includes repair to riprap and earthen slopes, excavation, and handling of hazardous materials.
