Scope of Work
NASA ITPO is seeking information on alternative pan, tilt, and zoom cameras, including positioners, with an anticipated cadence of approximately one launch per year. Key requirements include:
- Communication: Compatibility with RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and IP/Ethernet-based protocols.
- Power: Indication of power needs (e.g., 12-30 VDC, 24 VDC, 48 VDC, 120 VAC).
- Payload: Support for 60-150 lbs, 360-degree continuous pan, and +/-60 to +/-90 degree tilt, or integrated camera solutions.
- Video (if integrated): Minimum 1080p, 30fps imagery, with transmission method indicated.
- Slew: Pan and tilt speeds from 0.5 deg/sec to over 10 deg/sec.
- Environmental: Suitability for harsh outdoor environments, potential C1D2 compliance, and specified operating temperature/weather conditions (wind, solar, sand/dust, salt spray).
- Vibration: Indication of withstandable vibration standards and customization capabilities for high vibration environments.
