Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To contract for the servicing and preventative maintenance of two Cleaver Brooks CFC 700-2500-125HW boilers at the OLE National Fish and Wildlife Forensic Laboratory.

A. Quarterly Maintenance:

• Safety testing
• Combustion analysis (as needed)
• General equipment inspection for proper operation
• Flame safeguard control and amplifier checks
• Electrode cleaning and adjustment
• Operating and limit control checks
• Indicating lights and alarm checks
• Safety and interlock control checks
• Main LWCO (Low Water Cut-Off) shut down test
• Motor operation checks
• Test firing for warm-up
• Scanner operation checks
• Boiler tune-up with combustion setting
• Full operational check from start-up to shut-down
• Accessory equipment inspection and maintenance
• Recommendations for necessary repairs
• Provision of combustion readings, boiler efficiency, stack temperatures, and related data.

B. Annual Service:

• Unit opening for access and internal inspection (may involve State inspector or insurance carrier).

• Installation of replacement components/gaskets as recommended by the manufacturer.

• Unit closure.

• Includes all checks performed during Quarterly Maintenance.

• Replacement of neutralizer media.

• Period of Performance: Base Year: May 1, 2026 – April 30, 2027. Four additional option years through April 30, 2031.

Work must be performed to industry standards and manufacturer's maintenance specifications. Acceptance by the Technical Coordinator POC or designee after verification of completion.
