• The Department of War (DoW) is seeking technology solutions that integrate digitized design, additive manufacturing, robotics, joining, and assembly for producing finished metal parts from powdered metal feedstocks.
• Solutions should prioritize high product mix and rapid cycle times, and clearly identify the technology, demonstration location, necessary development, success metrics, maximum part dimensions (at least 16 inches in any one dimension), material types, suitability for certification, and expected production rates.
• The DoW has established a target of a 24-month performance period and $15M in federal funding for this prototype. Proposals exceeding these parameters require compelling justification.
• Submission instructions require the use of a White Paper format and inclusion of an Affirmation of Business Status Certification.
• Evaluation criteria are detailed in Paragraph B. OT: Submission Selection Criteria and Evaluation of the original BOTA.

• Font: Times New Roman 11-point or Arial 10-point for concept text; smaller legible font allowed within figures/tables.
• Page Layout: Portrait orientation (except figures), 8.5 x 11 inches, 0.75-inch margins.
• Page Numbering: Sequential within each section.
• Language: English.
