Statement of Work (SOW)

This SOW outlines the requirements for the overhaul of components for the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) HC-130J aircraft. The goal is to maintain an inventory of "Ready for Issue" (RFI) components to support the USCG's missions, including search and rescue, law enforcement, and marine resource conservation.

• Overhaul components to an RFI condition in accordance with applicable technical directives or approved alternate standards.

• Contractor shall supply all necessary parts, labor, and materials for overhaul at a firm-fixed price.

• Work includes repair of failed components, replacement of missing hardware, and removal of foreign matter or corrosion.

• Components must be returned in an airworthy condition, suitable for installation on the HC-130J aircraft.

• Overhaul actions must comply with applicable technical directives, including the latest revision.

• Components must meet minimum acceptable standards of performance to ensure operational effectiveness.

• Corrosion is expected and must be addressed according to technical directive specifications.

• Period of Performance and turn-around time/delivery schedule will be provided in the order.

• Primary place of performance will be the Contractor's facilities or other USCG-approved locations.

• Contractor must possess one of the following certifications: FAA Overhaul Facility, OEM Certified Overhaul Facility, or DoD/USCG Certified Facility.

• A Quality Assurance System must be maintained by the Contractor and any subcontractors.

• All parts must be thoroughly cleaned to remove hazardous dust, including hexavalent chromium, cadmium, and lead.

• Airworthiness Certification (e.g., FAA 8130) is required for all overhauled items.

• A Certificate of Conformance (COC) prepared per FAR 52.246-15 is required for each overhauled component.
