Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide overhaul services for USCG aviation components (applicable Part Numbers/National Stock Numbers) to maintain an inventory of Ready for Issue (RFI) components for the HC-130J aircraft, ensuring mission readiness.

• Perform overhaul of components to an airworthy, RFI condition in accordance with applicable technical directives or approved alternate standards.

• Supply all necessary parts, labor, and materials for overhaul.

• Repair unusual damage, incorporate Service Bulletins (SBs), and address deficiencies discovered during teardown.

• Overhaul includes replacement of missing hardware, broken parts, and removal of foreign matter or corrosion.

• Components must be returned in an airworthy condition and suitable for installation.

• Overhaul must meet or exceed technical directive specifications.

• Components must be certified airworthy and ready for field-level installation.

• Quality Assurance System required to ensure conformity to technical orders or OEM specifications.

• Airworthiness Certification (e.g., FAA 8130 or equivalent) is required for all overhauled items.

• Certificate of Conformance (FAR 52.246-15) required for each overhauled component.

• Period of performance and required delivery dates will be provided in the order.

• Primary place of performance will be the Contractor's facilities or other USCG approved location.

• Delivery is dock-to-dock; customs/import fees are not reimbursed.

• Contractor must be FAA Certified, OEM Certified, or DoD/USCG Certified.

• Sub-contractors must meet the same certification requirements.

• Contractor must have access to the latest technical directives and manuals.

• Environmental requirements: parts must be cleaned to be free of hazardous dust (hexavalent chromium, cadmium, lead).

• Handling of Unusual Damage, Cannibalized Components, and Beyond Economical Repair (BER) components is detailed.

• Reporting requirements include notification of component receipt and submission of reports via the Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS).
