Statement of Work (SOW)

To procure hot dip galvanizing services for metal bomb pallets to meet ASTM-A123 / A123M standards for the McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP).

• The vendor's location must be within 150 miles driving distance of McAlester, OK.

• The vendor will be responsible for loading and unloading Government trailers at the job site.

• Pallets are new, rusted, fabricated from steel components (A36 and ASTM A1011/A1011M).

• Special attention required for stenciled areas and saddle areas to minimize surface roughness.

• Sufficient drain time is required to prevent "blow outs" during galvanization.

• A preproduction testing quantity of three (3) pallet sets is required within 14 calendar days of receipt.

• Preproduction testing may be waived if prior performance is demonstrated.

• After preproduction approval, the vendor has seven (7) calendar days to complete each lot for Government pickup.

• Vendor must supply a Certificate of Conformance (COC) with each returned lot, including specific data fields.

• Pallets must meet ASTM-A123 / A123M standards.

• Certificate of Conformance (COC) required for each lot.

• Vendor location: within 150 miles of McAlester, OK.

• Approximate Period of Performance: 1 April 2026 – 31 Dec 2026.

• Vendor must provide a Certificate of Conformance (COC) with each lot.

• COC must include Manufacturer Name, Product Name/Description, NSN (if available), Specification, Lot/Batch Number, Manufacture Date, Expiration/Re-inspection Date, and Analytical Data.
